About the role#
The Office of the Registrar at Colorado State University is hiring a Non-Student Hourly Academic Record Specialist. This temporary position supports the Academic Records unit and works up to 40 hours per week. You will serve as a primary resource for faculty and staff, while providing secondary support for escalated student service issues.
What you'll do#
- Provide customer service and enrollment expertise via phone, email, Teams chat, and in-person interactions.
- Process and troubleshoot academic records transactions, appeals, and registration requests.
- Evaluate domestic transfer coursework using established university articulation guidelines.
- Coordinate specialized academic records and degree conferral processes.
- Develop and maintain departmental documentation, procedures, and training materials.
What you'll need#
- A Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience working in higher education within a Registrar’s Office, Enrollment Services, or Academic Affairs.
- Proficiency with administrative student information systems, specifically Ellucian Banner.
- Strong skills using Microsoft Office applications and Adobe Acrobat.
Location & details#
- This position is located at Centennial Hall in Colorado.
- The role offers a hybrid work schedule of three days in the office and two days remote, following the completion of training.
- This is a paid, non-full-time position with a rolling term.
