About the role#
The Wealth Management Intern position at Corient provides an opportunity to gain experience in a professional financial services environment. This is a full-time, paid internship based in St. Petersburg, Florida, running from June through August 2027. You will work on-site five days per week, supporting our team as we assist high-net-worth clients with their financial planning and legacy goals.
What you'll do#
- Prepare materials for client presentations, including financial projections and net worth statements.
- Review, summarize, and analyze data related to risk management, retirement planning, benefits, and taxes.
- Assist in the creation of customized financial planning templates for client meetings.
- Conduct research on various financial planning topics as required.
- Maintain and organize client and firm documents within the document management system.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program, with a preference for majors in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or Accounting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- A basic understanding of financial planning and investment concepts.
- Familiarity with insurance, estate planning, and tax principles.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.

- Location: St. Petersburg, Florida.
- Modality: On-site (5 days per week).
- Duration: Summer 2027 (June to August).
- Compensation: $34.50 per hour.
