About the role#
The Security Intern will work with the Enterprise Security & Risk team to support cybersecurity operations. You will gain hands-on experience with threat detection, vulnerability management, identity security, and security analytics. This role provides exposure to enterprise security platforms within manufacturing, business, cloud, and technology environments.
What you'll do#
- Analyze security alerts and investigate potential threats.
- Assist with security monitoring and threat detection activities.
- Participate in vulnerability management and remediation tracking.
- Support identity and access review processes.
- Develop dashboards and reporting using Power BI.
- Assist with cybersecurity risk assessments.
- Research emerging threats, attack techniques, and vulnerabilities.
- Support security documentation, standards, and operational procedures.
- Participate in incident response exercises and investigations.
- Assist with security automation opportunities using Power Platform and scripting.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Cyber Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Familiarity with networking concepts.
- Basic understanding of operating systems and security principles.
- Interest in cybersecurity operations and threat analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
