About the role#
Crop Quest, Inc. hires Agronomy Interns to assist farmers with production decisions. You will work alongside agronomists and precision specialists to provide recommendations for fertilizer, seed, and chemicals that help reach farm goals.
What you'll do#
- Monitor fields for insects, weeds, and diseases using imagery tools.
- Develop plans for crop rotation, budgets, and fertility management.
- Perform yield analysis to support decision making.
- Manage water resources through irrigation scheduling and soil moisture monitoring.
- Use geo-referenced software to record field data.
- Analyze soil texture, pH, organic matter, and elevation data.
- Execute grid and zone sampling to create variable rate recommendations.
What you'll need#
- A Bachelor degree in Agriculture or a related field.
- A valid driver license.

- This position is based in St. John, Kansas.
- This is an on-site, full-time, paid internship with a rolling term.
