About the role#
We are hiring Agronomy Operations Interns for the summer of 2027. You will work with our staff to learn the agronomy business through hands-on tasks and mentorship. This is a full-time, paid internship based on-site at our locations in Madelia, Janesville, and Jackson.
What you'll do#
- Work with operations staff to safely distribute and deliver agronomy products.
- Perform preventative maintenance inspections to reduce equipment downtime.
- Complete diagnostic, electrical, and troubleshooting work on various types of equipment.
- Assist with inventory management and warehouse procedures.
- Support plant operations, including tender driving, soil sampling, and field service calls.
- Maintain facilities, roadways, and rolling stock.
- Shadow custom applicators and assist with aerial application business.
- Participate in training and professional development sessions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Agriculture, Ag Business, or Ag Service Technician.
- Experience in an agricultural or ag retail setting.
- Advanced skills in equipment operation.
- A willingness to work long hours, including weekends and holidays.
