About the role#
Crystal Valley offers a Sales Agronomist Internship during the summer months of May to August. This role provides insight into the agronomy sales profession through mentorship and hands-on field experience. Interns will work alongside experienced staff to learn about products and services while engaging with customers.
What you'll do#
- Scout crops to identify pests and develop agronomic recommendations.
- Use agronomy and precision ag software.
- Assist with in-season operations such as seed delivery, sorting, and product returns.
- Perform field tasks including soil sampling, plant tissue sampling, and nutrient testing.
- Support aerial application business and general agronomy plant operations.
- Participate in professional development and training sessions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Ag Business, Crop Science, or related agriculture degree program.
- Background in agriculture or ag retail.
- Basic skills in equipment operation.
- Ability to work long hours, including weekends and holidays.

- Location: Janesville, Minnesota.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- This is a paid, full-time, on-site internship.
