About the role#
As an Agronomy Operations intern, you will gain hands-on experience in the daily operations of an agriculture business. You will work alongside professionals to learn about crop protection, nutrient products, and seed management. This role provides insight into how our business supports local farmers and ranchers.
What you'll do#
- Learn about scouting, mixing procedures, and custom application.
- Drive trucks and deliver products to customers.
- Perform agronomy and seed operations while monitoring inventory quality.
- Assist with repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment like sprayers, floaters, conveyors, and trucks.
- Maintain clean facilities and keep accurate records.
- Provide customer service and ensure all work complies with environmental and safety policies.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Ag Business, Crop Science, or related degree program.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
- An agriculture background or previous internship experience is helpful but not required.

- Location: Onida, South Dakota.
- Term: Winter 2027 and Summer 2027.
- Modality: On-site, full-time.
- Compensation: This is a paid internship.
