About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will apply your academic learning to real-world practice. You will follow a structured training roadmap to gain experience in pharmacy operations while preparing for a future role as a pharmacist. This position involves working under the guidance of a preceptor to support our pharmacy team and deliver patient care.
What you'll do#
- Assist the pharmacy team to ensure operations run smoothly and prescriptions are filled accurately.
- Follow company Standard Operating Procedures to help manage and improve patient health.
- Contribute to positive patient experiences by providing empathetic service over the phone, at pick-up, and at the drive-thru.
- Complete inventory activities as directed by pharmacy leadership, including cycle counts and putting away deliveries.
- Deliver patient health care services, such as immunizations, where permitted by law and supported by training.
- Communicate with prescribers to clarify prescriptions or facilitate medication changes.
What you'll need#
- Acceptance into or active enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure.
- Ability to complete required training within the designated timeframe.
- Ability to concentrate on specific tasks over extended periods.
- Ability to become immunization certified.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and travel to different store locations as needed.

- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Full-time with rolling term.
- Compensation: $20.50 - $24.25 per hour.
