About the role#
As a pharmacy intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to provide patient care and maintain a safe pharmacy environment. You will assist in managing pharmacy operations, including quality assurance, inventory, and regulatory compliance. This role requires a commitment to patient health and the ability to work as part of a team.
What you'll do#
- Deliver patient care and support pharmacy team goals.
- Maintain patient safety and adhere to all regulatory requirements.
- Manage pharmacy quality assurance processes and inventory.
- Provide customer service to patients and caregivers.
- Foster a team culture centered on caring and collaboration.
- Complete all required training within state guidelines.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- Between 0 and 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and perform tasks requiring finger dexterity.
- Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
Location & details#
- Location: Olney, Maryland.
- Schedule: Part-time with rolling term.
- Compensation: $20.50 - $24.25 per hour.
- Work modality: On-site.
