About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will apply your classroom learning to real-world practice. You will work under the direction of a preceptor to complete a comprehensive training roadmap. This role prepares you for future responsibilities as a pharmacist by providing an overview of store, district, and regional operations.
What you'll do#
- Assist the pharmacy team to ensure operations run smoothly and prescriptions are filled safely and accurately.
- Complete a comprehensive training roadmap focusing on key learning experiences.
- Contribute to positive patient experiences by showing empathy and care.
- Deliver patient health care services including immunizations and point-of-care testing where allowed by law.
- Maintain compliance with all company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
- Operate across pharmacy workstations including production, pick-up, drive-thru, and drop-off.
What you'll need#
- Acceptance into or active enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining one.
- Ability to complete all required training within the designated timeframe.
- Regular and predictable attendance, including availability for nights and weekends.
- Ability to pivot quickly between tasks to meet patient and business needs.
- Proficiency in verbal and written communication to interact with patients and colleagues.

- Schedule: Part-time with a rolling term.
