About the role#
As a Graduate Pharmacy Intern, you will transition your academic training into real-world practice. You will complete a comprehensive training roadmap within 120 days of graduation to build your knowledge of pharmacy operations. This role prepares you for the responsibilities of a Pharmacist by focusing on patient safety, quality assurance, and pharmacy professional standards.
What you'll do#
- Assist the pharmacy team to ensure operations run smoothly and prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately.
- Apply pharmacy school learning to daily tasks under the direction of your preceptor and District Leader.
- Contribute to a safe and inclusive culture by demonstrating empathy and genuine care in all interactions.
- Follow company procedures at all workstations, including production, pick-up, drive-thru, and drop-off.
- Support patient health by offering immunizations, answering medical questions, and facilitating medication changes as allowed by state regulation.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to pharmacy team members while sharing best practices.
- Manage basic inventory activities, such as cycle counts and returns-to-stock.
What you'll need#
- PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the training program.
- Ability to obtain pharmacist licensure within state-mandated timeframes.
- Must possess or be in the process of obtaining valid intern or technician licensure.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
- Capacity to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks like lifting up to 20 lbs.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and mathematical reasoning for prescription calculations.

- Compensation: This is a paid position with a pay range of $19.75 - $42.00 per hour.
