About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will apply your classroom learning to real-world pharmacy practice. You will work under the direction of a preceptor to complete a comprehensive training roadmap. This role provides an overview of store, district, and regional operations while preparing you for future responsibilities as a pharmacist.
What you'll do#
- Complete a comprehensive training roadmap, including key learning experiences and activities.
- Assist the pharmacy team to ensure operations run smoothly and prescriptions are filled safely and accurately.
- Demonstrate empathy and genuine care in all patient and colleague interactions.
- Comply with all company policies, standard operating procedures, and relevant laws to ensure patient safety and data privacy.
- Deliver additional patient health care services, such as immunizations and point-of-care testing, where allowed by law and supported by training.
- Maintain focus and pivot quickly between tasks to meet patient and business needs.
What you'll need#
- Active enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- Ability to complete all required training within the designated timeframe.
- Capability to concentrate on tasks over extended periods.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends, and travel to other locations in the market as needed.

- Compensation: This is a paid position with a pay range of $20.00 to $23.75 per hour.
