About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support the operations of a retail pharmacy. You will assist in maintaining a safe environment and delivering quality care to patients. This role involves participating in patient care programs and helping manage pharmacy workflows.
What you'll do#
- Ensure a safe and effective work environment in the pharmacy.
- Participate in patient care programs to help customers and patients.
- Show empathy and compassion for patients, caregivers, and colleagues.
- Promote a team culture that values caring and enthusiasm.
- Complete all required training within state guidelines and timeframes.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment or acceptance into an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Between 0 and 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Availability to work a schedule that includes nights and weekends.
- Ability to remain upright for extended periods, lift up to 20 pounds, and perform tasks requiring finger dexterity and visual acuity.

- This position is based in Manorville, New York.
- The role is on-site and part-time.
- This is a paid internship with a rolling term.
