About the role#
As a Graduate Pharmacy Intern, you will transition from didactic learning to real-world pharmacy practice. Under the direction of a preceptor and District Leader, you will complete a comprehensive training roadmap within 120 days of graduation. This role prepares you for a Pharmacist position by deepening your understanding of store operations, patient safety, and clinical standards.
What you'll do#
- Assist the pharmacy team to ensure that pharmacy operations run smoothly.
- Follow pharmacy workflow procedures at each workstation for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
- Contribute to positive patient experiences by showing empathy and genuine care.
- Provide in-the-moment coaching to pharmacy team members.
- Support immunizations by completing additional licensure and training requirements.
What you'll need#
- PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post-Graduate Training Program.
- Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within state guidelines.
- Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern or technician licensure.
