About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience and professional development within the homebuilding process. You will work within a primary department or functional area, gaining exposure to business operations through project work, research, and jobsite observation. The program is designed to help you explore career paths within the company.
What you'll do#
- Support daily operations in your assigned department, office, or field location.
- Assist with research, reporting, administrative tasks, and coordination efforts.
- Learn industry terminology, company policies, and safety requirements.
- Collaborate with team members and cross-functional departments.
- Participate in training programs, meetings, and departmental rotations.
- Conduct all business in a professional, ethical, and respectful manner.
- Work overtime or travel for business needs when required.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited four-year college or university as a junior or senior, or recent graduation.
- Degree coursework in Business Administration, Finance, Civil Engineering, Real Estate, Marketing, Communications, or Operations Management.
- Strong willingness to learn, take initiative, and ask questions.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to different work environments.
- Candidates pursuing an advanced degree may also be considered.
