About the role#
We are looking for a Production Engineering Intern to join our team in Waller, Texas, for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, on-site, paid internship. You will work on an individual project with your team and collaborate with other interns on a group project. The program includes opportunities to network across functions and participate in team activities.
What you'll do#
- Review engineering changes to HVAC product designs using mechanical engineering principles.
- Process product design requests by reviewing bills of materials, drawings, and engineering change requests.
- Develop and manage project schedules for product launches and design modifications.
- Provide production engineering support in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Solve product-related issues through root cause analysis and implement permanent solutions.
- Participate in cross-functional teams to launch products and support improvements.
- Assist with product launches and issue resolution by issuing pilot run reports.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering program.
- Expected graduation date between December 2027 and May 2029.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future.
