About the role#
This is an 11-week summer internship for students pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering. You will work with the engineering team to develop and maintain residential and commercial HVAC products. The role is based on-site in Waller, Texas, for the Summer 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Create, revise, and sustain HVAC product designs.
- Develop and manage project schedules for new and existing designs.
- Analyze product designs using tolerance, thermodynamic, finite element, and computational fluid dynamic methods.
- Prepare bills of materials, cost analyses, drawings, and engineering change requests.
- Oversee the development and testing of engineering prototypes.
- Work on an individual project with your team and collaborate with other interns on a group project.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Mechanical Engineering program with a graduation date between December 2027 and May 2029.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must not require employer sponsorship now or in the future.
