About the role#
Davidson & Company is hiring a Co-op student for the Private Enterprise and Tax practice. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position based in Vancouver for the Summer 2027 term. You will work directly with our team to gain hands-on experience with client files across various industries.
What you'll do#
- Build technical skills in compilations, reviews, bookkeeping, and tax for privately held companies.
- Prepare corporate and personal tax returns.
- Compute taxes for various entities while applying knowledge of the Canadian Income Tax Act.
- Use specific tools and software to complete tax engagements.
- Collaborate with your engagement team to maintain strong client relationships.
What you'll need#
- You are currently working toward completing CPA PEP prerequisites.
- Previous office experience in an accounting environment is an asset.
- Experience in customer or client service is helpful.
- Enrollment in an Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration program.
