About the role#
This is a 12-week summer internship based in Midland, Texas. You will work on an individual finance project throughout the summer, which concludes with a presentation to the executive team. You will gain exposure to financial analysis, investor relations, capital markets, and corporate development while receiving guidance from an experienced mentor.
What you'll do#
- Complete an individual finance project throughout the summer.
- Prepare weekly and monthly deliverables for senior executives and the Board of Directors.
- Support the maintenance of the corporate financial model and NAV.
- Maintain knowledge of debt and equity capital markets.
- Interface with other departments to understand processes that drive business outcomes.
- Participate in field visits to see drilling rigs and completions operations.
- Join intern events and philanthropic activities that support the Midland-Odessa community.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a bachelor degree or higher in Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Must be returning to school for the Fall 2027 semester.
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint.
- High attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
- Preferred: A GPA of 3.40 or higher, prior internship experience, or familiarity with the upstream oil and gas industry.

- This role is located in Midland, Texas.
- The internship runs for approximately 12 weeks from May to August 2027.
- This is a full-time, paid, on-site position.
