About the role#
As a Total Rewards Intern, you will work with the Human Resources team to gain hands-on experience in compensation and rewards practices. This position involves supporting department initiatives, conducting research, and completing a capstone project during your time with us. You will work alongside professionals to learn about job evaluation, market benchmarking, and rewards program design.
What you'll do#
- Research and analyze data to support Human Resources initiatives.
- Maintain and organize compensation and rewards documentation.
- Create reports, presentations, and recommendations to assist with business decision-making.
- Collaborate with team members on ongoing projects and daily department activities.
- Complete a capstone project throughout the internship.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program for Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Data Analytics, or Industrial/Organizational Psychology.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and confidentiality.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft 365 applications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in the United States without sponsorship.

- Location: Thief River Falls, Minnesota.
- Work Modality: Hybrid or on-site.
- Employment: Full-time paid internship.
- Compensation: Undergraduate students earn $21.00 to $23.00 per hour. Master's students earn $26.00 per hour, and PhD students earn $29.00 per hour.
- Housing: Local campus housing is available for interns based in Thief River Falls.
