About the role#
As a Data Science Intern, you will join a team focused on complex business challenges. You will work alongside Machine Learning and Data Science engineers to build systems that power features like recommendation engines, fraud detection, and marketing optimization. You will contribute to solutions that shape the experience of millions of customers.
What you'll do#
- Work within complex, production-level systems to support the development and deployment of machine learning solutions.
- Learn the end-to-end process of engineering design, model development, scalable system deployment, and ongoing operations.
- Make an immediate impact by contributing to internal research and development initiatives.
- Partner with a team mentor to onboard and navigate workflows.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a four year Bachelor's program in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Statistics.
- Proficiency in Python and a solid foundation in statistics.
- Experience with collaborative technical projects from internships, coursework, or extracurriculars.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- A proactive mindset and curiosity to explore new tools and techniques.
- Previous internship experience in a corporate or technical setting is preferred.
