About the role#
DV Trading is looking for a tech-savvy intern to join our IT operations team for the summer of 2027. You will act as the first point of contact for internal support, helping our staff with hardware and software needs. This role is a chance to build your technical troubleshooting skills while working in a professional office environment.
What you'll do#
- Serve as the primary contact for IT support requests received via phone, email, or in-person visits.
- Log and prioritize incoming requests to ensure timely resolution.
- Troubleshoot hardware and application issues, including managing desk setups.
- Resolve basic technical problems or escalate complex issues to senior staff.
- Maintain accurate records of support activities and contribute to the internal knowledge base.
- Assist with IT asset management and inventory tracking.
- Provide friendly and professional support to all users.
What you'll need#
- You are expected to graduate by Summer 2028.
- A genuine interest in technology and IT systems.
- A basic understanding of operating systems like Windows, macOS, or Linux, along with general hardware and software knowledge.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-service mindset.
- A willingness to learn and work well within a team.

- This is a full-time, paid internship based in Chicago, Illinois.
- The role is on-site.
- Compensation is $40.00 to $50.00 per hour.
