About the role#
This role supports the facilities management mailroom and the receiving and distribution center at East Stroudsburg University. You will handle daily logistics, inventory, and campus mail distribution. This is an on-site position for current students.
What you'll do#
- Receive, unpack, check, and record incoming goods.
- Store items in designated areas and withdraw stock based on delivery orders.
- Verify commodity details, sizes, and lots.
- Assist with assembling stock, packing shipments, and loading goods.
- Deliver mail to university departments and assist full-time clerks with large mailings.
- Sort and return mail, handle tabbing, and assist with mail redirection.
- Pick up packages and envelopes across campus as a messenger.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an ESU student.
- Ability to lift, pull, and push up to 40 pounds.
- Basic computer skills and experience in customer service.
- Ability to perform clerical tasks.
- At least 18 years of age.
- English literacy skills.

- Employment is contingent on passing a background check, including FBI fingerprinting, PA Child Abuse clearance, and employment or degree verification.
