About the role#
The Coordinator for the Office of Accessible Services Individualized for Students (OASIS) at East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania manages the implementation of disability-related services. This role ensures the university meets requirements under Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990. You will guide departmental strategy, oversee operations, and provide leadership for the office.
What you'll do#
- Oversee disability-related accommodations for students, faculty, staff, and community members.
- Manage all operations within the OASIS Testing Center.
- Develop, administer, and monitor departmental budgets while allocating resources.
- Direct strategic planning and establish policies to improve accessibility services.
- Supervise staff and manage the collection of data for reports and communications.
- Serve as a secondary academic advisor to students.
- Evaluate and improve processes to support the disabled community on campus.
What you'll need#
- Experience implementing accommodations for students with disabilities.
- Knowledge of Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990.
- Experience in budget management and resource allocation.
- Ability to supervise staff and direct department operations.
- Academic background in Public Health, Health Administration, Psychology, Human Resources, or Business Administration.
