About the role#
This is an 11-week paid internship program for Summer 2027. You will join our technical sales team to help customers preserve energy and water, minimize their environmental footprint, and increase productivity. This role combines engineering principles with a consultative sales approach. You will learn to build long-term customer relationships and provide strategic solutions through hands-on problem solving.
What you'll do#
- Complete independent projects under the direction of your primary trainer to yield a calculated ROI.
- Visit multiple customer sites across your region, spending 40-100% of your time in the field to learn best practices and treatment applications.
- Observe and participate in customer service visits to ensure accurate chemical application, process optimization, and documentation.
- Provide routine service support to Sales Representatives, including work with boilers, cooling towers, closed loops, and filtration systems.
- Build key relationships with departments and personnel critical to field success.
- Complete safety training and technical lessons focused on water treatment applications.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate Engineering degree program, specifically Chemical, Mechanical, Environmental, or Industrial Engineering.
- Expected graduation date in December 2027 or Summer 2028.
- A valid US Driver’s License with an acceptable motor vehicle record.
- Access to a personal vehicle.
- Ability to lift, push, or carry up to 50 pounds chest high.
- Note: Immigration sponsorship is not available for this position.
