About the role#
This 11-week paid internship provides MBA students with exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to work on business-critical projects. You will gain insight into Ecolab business operations and culture while contributing to strategic initiatives. The program concludes with a professional presentation of your project findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders. Successful interns may receive an offer for full-time employment following graduation.
What you'll do#
- Advise senior management on corporate strategy, planning, and business unit performance.
- Analyze trends that drive business unit performance.
- Create processes and analytical models to address key strategic issues.
- Support accounting, financial reporting, pricing, contract profitability, and new product analysis.
- Oversee the company capital structure, financial risk management, and debt portfolio.
- Analyze raw materials, logistics, manufacturing, inventory, and capital projects within the supply chain.
- Perform ad hoc financial analyses and participate in key business projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an MBA program with a focus on Finance.
- Expected graduation date of December 2027 or May/June 2028.
- At least four years of professional experience prior to starting your MBA.
- Prior financial experience is preferred.

- This is a full-time, 11-week internship starting June 1, 2027.
- The role is based in Saint Paul, Minnesota.
- This position follows a hybrid work model, balancing time in the office and working remotely.
