About the role#
As a Summer 2027 Supply Chain Intern, you will join our manufacturing team in Fort Dodge. You will help ensure a consistent supply of products by balancing production capacity, inventory targets, and customer demand. This role offers exposure to production planning, logistics, quality management, and finance, allowing you to contribute to site-wide operations.
What you'll do#
- Assist in developing and implementing weekly and monthly production schedules for assigned work-centers.
- Communicate with manufacturing management, floor personnel, and external partners regarding production issues.
- Support inventory analysis of distressed, obsolete, or rejected materials.
- Ensure raw materials and components are available and released before production orders are issued.
- Maintain safety stock levels and MRP material master data within an ERP system.
- Coordinate non-commercial demand and new product launches with cross-functional teams.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Supply Chain Management, Economics, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suites, specifically Excel.
- Strong math skills and a willingness to learn complex systems.
- Analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
- Organizational and time management abilities.
- Basic understanding of cGMP guidelines and manufacturing environments.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Location: Fort Dodge, Iowa.
- Term: Summer 2027 (May 17th to August 6th).
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Employment Type: Full-time, paid internship.
- Travel: 10 percent travel to the corporate facility in Indianapolis, Indiana for program opening and closing.
