About the role#
This is a paid, full-time Electrical Engineering Co-Op position based in Marshalltown, Iowa. You will work on-site and participate in a structured program that rotates through engineering labs, computer-aided engineering, and product engineering departments. This role offers the chance to gain hands-on experience by working alongside technicians and engineers on product development and feasibility studies.
What you'll do#
- Conduct tests using various types of lab equipment.
- Build circuit board prototypes using through-hole and surface mount technologies.
- Create schematics and PCB layouts used to design embedded circuit boards on CAD.
- Design, build, and test complete circuit boards.
- Assist in engineering analysis, failure analysis, and simulation tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's Degree program for Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Ability to work full-time during the scheduled semester.
- A cumulative GPA of 2.50 or higher.
- The ability to return for multiple co-op rotations.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
