About the role#
This co-op position is based at the global headquarters for Fisher control valves in Marshalltown, Iowa. You will join the Global Industry Sales team to gain hands-on experience by supporting the global sales network. You will act as a source of factory expertise while building your technical and commercial skills in a customer-focused environment.
What you'll do#
- Support the global sales network by performing valve sizing and selection across the Flow Controls portfolio.
- Manage assigned requests for quotation from end to end, which includes developing technical solutions and preparing quotations.
- Collaborate with global sales teams and technical experts to ensure customer requirements align with product solutions.
- Troubleshoot field installation problems and specify custom valve solutions.
- Provide training and host site visits for sales representatives and customers.
- Analyze and develop market studies on industry trends.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher.
- Junior or Senior standing.
