About the role#
The Supply Chain Sourcing Intern will build a learning program for Project Managers and Operations Managers. You will help them evaluate waste stream treatment options and determine the right steps for outreach and implementation. This project involves working with internal experts to create practical tools and a decision-making framework that improves consistency across the team.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to document waste treatment methods and operational requirements.
- Create a learning curriculum that educates staff on treatment options.
- Build a decision tree and supporting tools to guide users through the treatment selection process.
- Define outreach, qualification, and follow-up activities for each treatment path.
- Include financial analysis components in the program, such as cost comparisons, margin impacts, and supplier pricing.
- Develop standardized workflows and reference materials.
- Gather feedback from stakeholders to validate content.
- Pilot training materials and refine the program based on user input.
What you'll need#
- High School diploma or equivalent is required. A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Current Sophomore, Junior, or Senior standing is preferred.
- Preferred majors include Supply Chain, Operations Management, Environmental Sustainability, or Business.
- Ability to simplify complex processes into practical guidance.
- Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience developing process documentation, workflows, or training programs.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with cost analysis and financial evaluation.
