About the role#
As a Land Intern at Expand Energy, you will work under the mentorship of senior land professionals. You will manage mineral and leasehold interests for a specific geographical area. Your goal is to secure the legal rights to drill oil and gas wells. You will also monitor competitor activity across broader prospects.
What you'll do#
- Prepare ownership reports using internal records.
- Verify federal and county lease records.
- Negotiate leases and handle title curative and contract reviews.
- Assist with assignment preparation and payout determinations.
- Propose wells to third parties and draft well notices.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor degree program at an AAPL accredited university.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
- Expected graduation date no earlier than December 2027.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

- The role is on-site and full-time.
- This is a paid internship with a rolling term.
