About the role#
As a Well Operations Intern, you will shadow supervisors who manage well site operations. You will support our global drilling, completions, and workover efforts. This role emphasizes safety, operational integrity, and efficiency. You will work on a rotation schedule, spending three weeks on-site followed by one week off.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with engineering, materials, and contracting teams to implement well designs.
- Travel to well sites to supervise drilling, workover, and completion operations.
- Organize and prioritize daily well site activities to ensure safety and continuous improvement.
- Analyze well-related performance and events, communicating findings to the team to drive operational improvements.
- Complete a large-scale project to present to leadership at the end of the summer.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, Civil, or Aerospace Engineering, engineering technology, or Construction Management.
- Strong academic performance and high analytical problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and effective communication skills.
