About the role#
The IT Asset Management (ITAM) internship offers hands-on experience managing the technology lifecycle from procurement to disposal. You will learn how ITAM supports risk mitigation by enhancing governance and ensuring compliance with internal policies. This role focuses on maintaining accurate asset records to support cost optimization and strategic planning.
What you'll do#
- Maintain and update the ITAM system to ensure accurate hardware and software records.
- Support lifecycle management tasks such as procurement, deployment, and disposal.
- Collaborate with IT and security teams to remediate risks from unauthorized or end-of-life assets.
- Analyze asset data for trends and anomalies to support decision-making.
- Participate in process improvement projects to increase operational efficiency.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate bachelor program.
- Pursuing a major in Finance, Accounting, Marketing, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Cybersecurity.
- Strong communication and analytical skills.
- Ability to work on-site.
