About the role#
This internship provides clinical experience within the In-Home Therapy program. You will work with youth aged 0-20 and their caregivers. The role follows the Wraparound model to ensure families direct their own treatment. You will receive ongoing supervision from an LICSW or LMHC to support your learning goals.
What you'll do#
- Provide intensive family therapy in the homes of clients.
- Collaborate with a clinician and a Therapeutic Training and Support staff member.
- Assist in implementing treatment plans and coordinating care.
- Participate in regular supervision sessions.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in the second year of a Master's degree program in Psychology, MSW, or a related field leading to LICSW, LCSW, or LMHC licensure.
- Current CANS certification.
- Ability to work with SED populations.
- Ability to work 16 to 20 hours per week, with a billable expectation of 12 to 15 hours.
- Availability during after-school hours, specifically 3:30 pm to 7:30 pm, with flexibility for some evenings or weekends based on client needs.
- Skills to engage with people from diverse backgrounds.
