About the role#
The Supervision and Risk Management (SRM) internship is a 10-week summer program based in Oklahoma City. Interns contribute to the stability of the financial system through project work and professional assignments within the SRM division. This is a full-time, paid position.
What you'll do#
- Complete projects ranging from quantitative analysis to qualitative write-ups.
- Assist on bank examinations by conducting financial analysis.
- Review compliance with laws and regulations, including those focused on consumer protection.
- Evaluate statutory factors when processing bank applications.
- Provide recommendations for internal websites and automated tools.
- Present oral and written findings to Federal Reserve Bank management.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an undergraduate student with a graduation date between May 2027 and May 2028, or current graduate student status.
- Degree focus in finance, accounting, economics, or a business-related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team.
Location & details#
- Location: Oklahoma City, OK.
- Modality: Hybrid, with full-time on-site work and 5 days per month of remote flexibility.
- Travel: Required for bank examinations and for onboarding or offboarding at the Kansas City headquarters.
- Compensation: $21.00 per hour.
