About the role#
Findorff is hiring a Project Engineer Co-op for our team in Tempe, Arizona. This position is open for Summer 2027 and Fall 2027 terms. You will gain hands-on experience across various phases of construction, ranging from preconstruction to project closeout. You will work alongside experienced professionals to build technical, administrative, and leadership skills.
What you'll do#
- Assist with RFIs, submittals, document control, and project communication.
- Participate in team meetings, record meeting minutes, and help with short-term planning.
- Gain exposure to quantity takeoffs, bid package preparation, and basic estimating.
- Work with Superintendents to assist with material coordination and quality assurance.
- Use tools such as Bluebeam and Procore to support document updates.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Comfort with technology and strong computer skills.
- An interest in building a career in the construction industry.
