About the role#
Fishbeck is looking for an Environmental Engineering Intern for the summer of 2027. You will work alongside our environmental team to collect data, assist with technical documentation, and gain hands-on experience in the field. This is a full-time, paid internship based in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
What you'll do#
- Collect and assess stormwater samples and environmental data.
- Support the development of environmental plans including SPCCs, PIPPs, HWCPs, and SWPPPs.
- Assist with permits, applications, and technical reports.
- Collaborate with engineers and scientists on consulting projects.
- Participate in site visits and fieldwork.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in an Environmental, Civil, or Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or related program.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and the Office Suite.
- Previous field or lab experience is a plus.
- A curious and analytical mindset.
- Ability to work independently and ask questions.
