About the role#
Fishbeck is hiring a Transportation Engineering Intern for the Summer 2027 term. You will work with our transportation team to design roads, bridges, and other civil infrastructure for municipal clients and the Department of Transportation. This is a full-time, hybrid position based in Indianapolis.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the design of civil infrastructure projects.
- Create design drawings using AutoCAD and OpenRoads Designer.
- Support engineers with technical documentation and calculations.
- Work with multi-disciplinary teams across different office locations.
- Solve engineering challenges and help manage project deliverables.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited Civil Engineering program.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- A desire to learn and contribute to project work.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD or OpenRoads Designer is a plus.
- Previous internship or DOT project experience is helpful but not required.
