About the role#
Fishbeck is hiring a Transportation Engineering Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid internship. You will work with our transportation team to support the design of civil infrastructure projects for the DOT and various municipal clients.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the design of roads, bridges, and other civil infrastructure.
- Create design drawings using AutoCAD and OpenRoads Designer.
- Support engineers with technical documentation and calculations.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams across different office locations.
- Solve engineering challenges and help manage project deliverables.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited Civil Engineering program.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD or OpenRoads Designer.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- A willingness to learn and contribute to project work.
- Previous internship or DOT project experience is helpful but not required.
Location & details#
- This position is based in Ohio with availability in Cincinnati, Columbus, and Dayton.
- The role offers a hybrid work schedule.
