About the role#
As a Global Sourcing Intern, you will join our team to ensure the material pipeline remains consistent and efficient. You will work alongside engineers to build supplier relationships and expand our production capabilities. This role focuses on balancing cost, performance, and supply reliability to support our 3D printing technology.
What you'll do#
- Work directly with current and potential suppliers to keep our material pipeline flowing.
- Develop strategies to optimize suppliers for cost, quality, and supply resilience.
- Assist in supply chain planning for future product rollouts.
- Conduct market analysis to provide sourcing insights.
What you'll need#
- A technical or engineering background.
- Leadership experience and exposure to project management.
- Ability to work with a variety of teams.
- Strong organizational skills to manage concurrent projects and conversations.
- Pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or Logistics.
Location & details#
- Location: Somerville, Massachusetts (On-site).
- Term: Winter and Spring 2027 (January through April).
- Commitment: Full-time.
- Compensation: This is a paid, salaried position with a bi-weekly pay range of $1,350 to $1,550 USD.
