About the role#
This is a paid, full-time internship for students pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering. You will work on-site in Pickering, Ontario, supporting our team with engineering design, system analysis, and technical documentation. This position is a rolling term.
What you'll do#
- Support the design and development of engineering solutions.
- Conduct analysis and evaluations of various systems and components.
- Assist in testing procedures and interpret the resulting data.
- Prepare technical specifications and documentation.
- Evaluate and apply engineering techniques and procedures.
- Adapt standard methods to address new or unfamiliar tasks.
- Select appropriate tools and criteria to solve technical problems.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a BS (Junior/Senior), MS, or PhD program in Electrical Engineering.
- An unofficial academic transcript attached to your application.
- Strong technical problem-solving skills.
- Clear communication abilities.
- Interest in innovation for clean, safe energy.
Location & details#
- Location: Pickering, Ontario, Canada.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $24.90 to $32.60 CAD per hour.
- Benefits: Includes health, dental, and vision plans, life insurance, disability coverage, and an RRSP with employer match. You are eligible for up to 3 weeks of vacation, 7 sick days, and 13 paid holidays annually.
