About the role#
Framatome is hiring a Mechanical Engineering intern to support our work in the nuclear energy sector. You will join a team focused on providing engineering expertise for the CANDU market. This role offers the chance to work on projects that support safe and efficient energy operations.
What you'll do#
- Support the design and development of engineering solutions.
- Conduct analysis and evaluations of systems and components.
- Assist in testing procedures and interpret the results.
- Prepare technical specifications and documentation.
- Evaluate and apply engineering techniques and procedures.
- Adapt and modify standard methods to address new or unfamiliar tasks.
- Select appropriate tools and criteria to solve technical problems.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a BS (Junior/Senior), MS, or PhD in Mechanical Engineering.
- A copy of your unofficial academic transcript.
- Strong technical problem-solving skills.
- Clear communication abilities.

- Employment: Full-time internship with a rolling term.
- Compensation: This is a paid position with a salary range of $24.90 to $32.60 per hour, plus benefits including RRSP matching, vacation time, and health plans.
