About the role#
As a Fintech Intern, you will learn how financial processes, data, and technology support business operations. You will work on real business challenges and contribute to projects alongside associates with technical and business expertise. This is a paid, full-time internship for the summer of 2027.
What you'll do#
- Apply technical and analytical skills to financial processes and enterprise systems.
- Use SQL and other tools to analyze data, support reporting, and solve business problems.
- Support projects involving business process analysis, requirements gathering, and data mapping.
- Collaborate with finance and technology partners to develop practical solutions.
- Learn the Oracle environment to support revenue management, contract management, and reporting.
- Take ownership of project work by asking questions and seeking information.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a bachelor’s or graduate degree program in fintech, business, business analytics, data analytics, computer science, MIS, engineering, or a related field.
- Enrollment at a college or university within a 250-mile radius of Omaha, Nebraska.
- Availability to work 40 hours per week for 12 weeks during the summer of 2027.
- Eligibility to work in the United States. This position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship.
- Classroom or work experience with SQL is preferred.
- Classroom or work experience in financial, business, or data analytics is preferred.
- Familiarity with Oracle software is preferred.
- Anticipated graduation between August 2027 and May 2028 is preferred, though 2029 graduates will be considered.
Location & details#
- Location: Omaha, Nebraska.
- Work Modality: This role requires on-site work at the Omaha office Monday through Thursday, with the option to work remotely on Friday.
- Compensation: $20 per hour.
- Potential for up to 20 hours of work per week during the school year, depending on business needs.
- Potential for a full-time job offer upon graduation, based on business needs and intern performance.
