About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027. You will join the IT team to support the technology that keeps associates connected and equipped to work. This role involves direct interaction with users and hands-on maintenance of office systems.
What you'll do#
- Provide technical support to Gallup users and visiting associates.
- Build relationships with staff while helping them navigate Microsoft Windows and Apple Mac environments.
- Troubleshoot workstations and related software.
- Maintain network equipment, including file servers, routers, and switches.
- Monitor critical business systems and applications to ensure uptime and availability.
- Learn new internal processes and systems while maintaining a focus on user needs.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an associate or bachelor degree program in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.
- Current enrollment at a college or university within a 250-mile radius of Omaha, Nebraska.
- Availability to work 40 hours per week for 12 weeks during the summer of 2027.
- Broad knowledge of networking, computer hardware, and software applications.
- Experience with technical troubleshooting and working in a Windows user and server environment.
- Eligibility to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
Location & details#
- This position is based at the Gallup office in Omaha, Nebraska.
- You are required to work on-site Monday through Thursday, with an option to work remotely on Friday.
- This is a paid, full-time internship.
