About the role#
GBA is hiring Electrical Engineer Interns for our Life Sciences group. You will work within an integrated team of architects, engineers, commissioning specialists, and project managers. This team designs mechanical and electrical systems for the bio-pharma industry. This position is full-time and on-site in Lenexa, Kansas, or Broomfield, Colorado.
What you'll do#
- Prepare construction documents for various systems.
- Review shop drawings and RFIs.
- Verify permitting and code requirements.
- Perform facility evaluations and engineering studies.
- Assist with troubleshooting and commissioning.
- Complete other tasks as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a BS or MS in Architectural or Electrical Engineering or a related field from an accredited program.
- Completed at least two years of school.
- A 2.7 GPA is strongly preferred.
- Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, and Excel is preferred.
- Prior internship or related experience is a plus.
- Involvement in campus, community, or volunteer organizations.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
