    About the role#

    As an Applied AI Engineer Intern, you will work on projects that connect data, tools, cloud systems, and AI to advance aerospace engineering. You will own tasks from start to finish, building and shipping solutions that meet business needs and drive impact. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to turn customer insights into technical solutions.

    What you'll do#

    • Develop technical solutions that help engineers evaluate and adopt data and AI tools.
    • Consult on architecture, implement proof of concepts, and deliver solutions for strategic business projects, including machine learning systems.
    • Build and present product architectures, write technical code, and demo applications to stakeholders.
    • Gain experience with the Innovator Method, Game Theory, and DecisionIQ.
    • Work to ship solutions to production that deliver measurable business value.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
    • A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.7 on a 4.0 scale.
    • Proficiency in programming and debugging using Python, C#, C++, and SQL.
    • Hands-on experience in at least one of the following: Machine Learning, Large Language Models (LLMs), or Computer Vision.

    • Term: Summer 2027.
    • Work Modality: Remote.
    • This is a paid, full-time internship position.
    • Locations include Evendale, Ohio, and Atlanta, Georgia.
