    About the role#

    We are looking for a Data Science Intern to join our R&D team. You will work on the Stargate additive manufacturing platform, developing machine learning models to improve our printing processes. You will collaborate with teams in simulation, robotics, and software to solve technical problems and see your work put into production.

    What you'll do#

    • Design, implement, and evaluate machine learning models for large scale additive manufacturing systems.
    • Work with cross-functional teams to deploy models into production environments.
    • Extract insights from sensors, cameras, and physical simulations.
    • Optimize the interactions between materials, printing processes, and product performance.

    What you'll need#

    • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Engineering, or a related field.
    • Strong programming skills in Python using frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
    • A solid theoretical understanding of machine learning and statistics.
    • Proficiency in statistical analysis, optimization, and data visualization tools.

    • This is a full-time, paid internship.
    • The role is based on-site in Long Beach, California.
    • The term is rolling.
