About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in the power generation industry. You will work on technical assignments across systems, analysis, design, quality, reliability, digital, and integration and test. We focus on product lines including steam turbines, gas turbines, gas engines, and generators.
What you'll do#
- Receive technical training, mentorship, and coaching from experienced technical managers.
- Grow your technical expertise and expand your skills in new areas.
- Develop and implement new design concepts and design improvements.
- Work with the drafting team to create or update drawings.
- Partner with the manufacturing team to solve problems related to complex manufacturing processes.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a full-time undergraduate or graduate program in Aerospace, Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Must have one to two semesters left prior to graduation.
- Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.
- Analytical approach to problem solving and high self-motivation.
- Ability to work under minimal supervision.
- Willingness to learn from others.
- Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership and team player capabilities.
- Ability to work in the United States without sponsorship.

- Locations: Greenville, South Carolina; Atlanta, Georgia; or Schenectady, New York.
- Term: Summer 2027 (May through August).
- Modality: On-site.
- Status: Full-time, paid internship.
