About the role#
GE Vernova Hitachi Nuclear Energy offers engineering internships focused on the power generation industry. This role provides hands-on experience with advanced reactor technology, fuel, and services. You will work on technical assignments while receiving mentorship from experienced managers and technologists.

- Perform design and analysis of product lines.
- Develop models and conduct research to solve technical problems.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external organizations.
- Receive coaching and technical learning opportunities.
- Grow your expertise in areas such as systems, reliability, digital integration, and testing.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a full-time undergraduate or graduate program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering.
- Graduation years of 2028, 2029, or 2030.
- A minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.
- Demonstrated initiative and a desire to advance nuclear power generation.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to solve complex problems.
- Legal authorization to work in Canada.
- Ability to be authorized to access information under U.S. Export Control Laws.
