About the role#
As an Actuarial Intern at Gen Re, you will gain practical experience through hands-on assignments. You will work in our Stamford, Connecticut office on a full-time basis. This role offers exposure to various actuarial functions and the chance to engage with professionals across the company.
What you'll do#
- Complete projects focused on pricing, valuation, and data analysis.
- Attend weekly meetings with staff from different departments.
- Participate in Lunch and Learns with other interns in the program.
- Present your findings and project work to an actuarial audience.
- Collaborate with team members to solve problems and share knowledge.
What you'll need#
- An interest in actuarial science.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication abilities.
- A desire to work in a team environment.
- Current pursuit of a degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or Computer Science.
